Institutional Publishers and Editorial Staff

The Special Editions are a joint publication of the , and the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV). The MPI is a research institute whose focus is on comparative law. The DJJV is a non-profit association having approximately 600 members (mostly legal professionals and academics) located in Germany and abroad. An editorial collaboration exists also with the Australian Network for Japanese Law (ANJeL). The editorial staff is formed by Dr. Ruth Effinowicz (MPI, Hamburg), Prof. Dr. Harald Baum (MPI, Hamburg), Prof. Dr. Moritz Bälz (Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt/Main), Prof. Dr. Marc Dernauer (Chuo University, Tokyo), and Prof. Dr. Gabriele Koziol (Kyoto University).
