About the Press
The Special Issues are a joint publication of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (MPI), Hamburg, and the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV). The MPI is a research institute whose focus is on comparative law. The DJJV is a non-profit association having approximately 600 members (mostly legal professionals and academics) located in Germany and abroad. An editorial collaboration exists also with the Australian Network for Japanese Law (ANJeL).
